Now seeking qualified individuals who enjoy working with kids accepted to attend Camp Lions of Illinois. Basic duties include being a positive role model to some very independent kids with hearing & vision loss.
Activities to supervise include swimming, horse back riding, archery, hikes, team sports & games, canoeing, cookouts, sing-a-longs, and a lot of fun times. 
Some college students have been able to use their employment to develop their sign language techniques, child care skills, and earn possible credit hours from the experience.
Sign Language skills & previous experience with people with
physical, auditory, and/or visual impairments
is a definite plus, but not required.
